How to Build Team Cohesiveness

Schedule social time together.

Create a sense of performance “crisis.”

The opposite steps may be taken to reduce the cohesiveness of a group. Such actions may become necessary when members of a highly cohesive group are operating with negative performance norms and the efforts to change these norms have failed.
