One of the challenges I have faced as an OD practitioner is that when OD is practiced effectively, the "clients" learn how to "heal themselves" so that they can continue to improve without any external help. In other words, you work yourself out of a job. What are some of the things an OD professional can do to create a self-healing organization? What business processes or procedures would you expect to see this type of organization put into place?
