Design a new access database and eliminate the use of multiple excel based trackers and job managers.Goal: To eliminate the use of excel and create a quote tracker and job tracker database on top of that able to generate quotation. Basically ALL-IN-ONE system

Task

1) Create Quote Tracker (using Access FORM)

2) Create Job Tracker (using Access FORM)

3) Create Quotation System and generate quotation to email it to customer (using Access FORM)

4) Whole access should be simple and straightforward to use

Scenario:

Quote and Job tracker

1) Adam receive email (quotes) from customer include Reference Number then Adam has to create quote list on quotes tracker

2) Adam then send the email to John

3) John review and make the quotes (set pricing) then send it back to Adam

4) Adam then attached quote and email it back to customer

5) -If Won job Adam will update quote tracker as (Won) status and create job into Job tracker

-If Lose job Adam will update quote tracker as (Lost) status

The forms are created for project tracker, quotation tracker and quotation form. All forms are attached in proect1.accdb and it has all basic operations such as create new record, save record, delete record, clear record etc.

As for quotation system, I have attached the example for that. what it does is the supervisor can just select the item and come up with a total price then send it to customer. so the using of Microsoft access is like all in one. act as quotes tracker , project job tracker and able to generate quotation Goals: Design a new access database and eliminate the use of multiple excel based trackers and job managers. in the prototype access file you sent the form is already implemented. 2) The excel file that you sent doesn't match with the prototype access file 3) In excel file there are many Quotes whose columns vary from one another. 4) Please explain clearly what needs to be done in each form 1) Create Quote Tracker (using Access FORM) 2) Create Job Tracker (using Access FORM) 3) Create Quotation System and generate quotation to email it to customer (using Access FORM) the solution is missing out the quotation form. Where the form used to make generate quotes. for example look at attachment 19716361_1Example of Quotation Form.PNG that prototype file may be wrong. the whole point is just eliminate the use of excel and implement everything in access. quote tracker form my initial idea is to let user input/update/delete the data from there without having to look at the datasheet, same goes to job tracker.
