You are going to create an orientation checklist for a new hire to your Health Information Management department.

- Consider what the employee would need to know about the organization, department, and individual job role.

- You can review some samples online but be sure to create your own checklist.

- You can use any format you choose as long as it is in a format that can be "checked" off as completed.

- You should have at least 15 items between the organization, department, and individual job role.

- Once you have completed your orientation checklist, provide 2 paragraphs of information addressing how you would address cultural diversity with your new employee. Be specific in the steps you will take. What resources might you use? How might you offer the training?
