Assignment

As a literacy teacher, understanding the foundational elements of literacy and recognizing warning signs or symptoms of different reading difficulties are critical to effective literacy instruction.

Scenario

Imagine you are a reading specialist, and you will be presenting at a new-teacher training about elements of literacy and factors that can impact literacy development. You need to implement an assessment at the end of your training to evaluate the teachers' understanding. You decide to create a quiz focused on the 5 components of reading, reading difficulties, diagnosis tools, remediation strategies, and home literacy connections.

Task

Create a minimum 10-question online quiz that focuses on critical reading components, reading difficulties, diagnosis tools, remediation strategies, and home literacy connections. Use the attached Question and Answer Document to submit your questions and answers and your quiz link.
