Create a Company Database in Microsoft Access Step 1: Decisions Each individual team member will need to create a database (DB). You will need to work together and decide who does what and to be sure you do not create duplicate tables, queries, or reports. Please be sure that each team member contributes towards the project. Step 2: Microsoft Access [Setup] Create a database with two tables. Be sure to use information that would be useful in your business. You need to have at least 8-10 data points in each table, and you need to include the appropriate information for the type of data. (For customers, you would use name, address, etc. For products, you need item numbers, description, etc.) Some examples of tables that would relate well to each other are (but not limited to): Product and Supplier Customer and Orders Employee and Department Customers and Donations Volunteers and Volunteer Projects or Locations Step 3: Microsoft Access [Project Creation] Create a relationship between the two tables. Create a meaningful report from one of your tables. Create a meaningful query that uses information from both tables. Create a report that shows the results of your query. Include your header on your reports, and be sure your reports would print on a single page.
