Create a causal loop diagram of the Salween River. System diagrams should address one or more specific challenges that connect to the environment and or the nexus of food, energy, and water resources. Charts should also help to identify critical leverage points in the system where policy could be applied to address the challenges associated with environmental change, damage and environmental justice and equity.

You will research your assigned transboundary watershed and identify key system challenges and their system components to develop a causal loop diagram of your assigned watershed "system". Remember to include important endogenous (internal) variables, draw connections from cause à effect, and label the polarity of the contacts and any feedback loops. Exogenous variables (external) may drive change within your system (i.e., global atmospheric temperature change, resource movement into the nation or city-state, etc.). Be sure to include your exogenous variables as well. Consider what it would take to make this "system" "closed." Is it possible for a case study to operate free from exogenous inputs?
