Assignment 1: For this assignment you will create an outline of an HR metrics plan that effectively measures the activities of the HR department and provides senior leadership with the information needed to determine both the productive and cost effectiveness of the HR function. The report can be submitted in table format to include the metric description, how it will be measured, how often it will be measured, and an estimate of the ranges of effectiveness for each metric. For example, if the metric is time to hire, the estimated range could be an average of 14 days.

Length: Minimum of 1 page, not including title page and references page

References: Include a minimum of 3 scholarly resources

Assignment 2: Throughout this course you have examined the tasks related to effective human resources management in healthcare organizations. In this assignment, you will synthesize the content of this course by creating a strategic HR plan that includes salient HR functions as well as describing tactical methods to be used to ensure these strategies are effective, timely, and congruent with the organization's mission.

Create a strategic HR plan that encompasses the following elements:

1. Overall strategic focus of HR, tied to organizational mission and brand

2. Talent acquisition

3. Employee engagement

4. Compensation

5. Bene?t

6. Legal compliance

7. HR effectiveness measurement

Included in the plan will be how each one is tied to the others and how each one contributes to the overall strategic goals of the organization. Make sure you incorporate your understanding of the link between patient satisfaction and employee satisfaction.
