Is one of Canada's leading and most diversified agricultural companies. One of its lines of business, Richardson Milling, is the largest miller of oats in North America. Recently, VP Business Development Cory Bohatenko has been asked to submit strategic proposals to senior management for growing the current business. Your manager, Cory Bohatenko, has asked you to join the team that is creating new growth proposals for senior management because you have already done some research about the size and growth potential of the food processing industry in Canada.

Using some of the informal and formal research methods mentioned in Chapter 3 (for example, questionnaires and Internet research) persuade Cory-in a short informational report-that Richardson Milling should create a new division, Richardson Food Processing, to take Richardson Milling's milled oats and produce products (for example, granola bars) to sell directly to retailers.

As part of the Richardson Milling research project discussed, create an outline before you draft your report to Cory. Cory has just mentioned that he would like you to present your ideas to the executive team at a departmental meeting at the end of the week, so you also need to create a PowerPoint slide deck.

In this outline, i have to mention information that will convince Cory and the rest of the management team that Richardson Milling should do a new division, which you suggest be named Richardson Food Processing, to take Richardson Milling's milled oats and produce products (for example, granola bars) to sell directly to retailers.
