Each season, MALT-UP Mountain Brewers blends micro brews for their retail membership. For a concession client prepaid for a upcoming rodeo, the Brewers were asked to create a special brew of two malt blends, Chesty nut and Bronco brew, customer wants 500 gallons of brew, which must contain at least 45% of Chest nut and at least 100 gallons Bronco-brew, customer also specified that the blend have an alcohol content of ate least %6. Chesty nut contains 10% alcohol while Bronco-brew contains 4%.

The blend is sold for $10 per gallon. Chesty nut costs $4 per gallon and Bronco brew costs $3 per gallon company wants to determine the blend that will meet the customer's requirements and maximize profit.

a. Using the 5 step LP model process chapter 2, formulate the LP model for this problem.

b. Solve the problem using the graphical method. What is optimal solution?

c. Create an Excel spreadsheet of LP model showing attention to both accuracy and presentation.

d. Use Analytic Solver platform to verify graphical solution

e. Explain comparison anything different?

d. Create Answer report (use report to answer following questions). Which constraints are binding? Which constraints show slack?

f. Create a Sensitivity Report; perform an analysis by answering questions below.

Is the optimal solution degenerate? Explain why or why not. Is the optimal solution unique? If not, identify an alternate optimal solution for the problem.

What is the highest value the objective function coefficient X_1 can assume without changing the optimal solution?

Will the current solution remain optimal if a binding constraint is increased by 5 percent? Identify and analyze the chosen constraints and Explain.
