Question: Think about the relationship between law and politics. The Patriot Act could be viewed as self-serving and how different court jurisdictions interpret and prosecute crimes differently. Make your argument as to why this continually occurs, if our judicial system is supposed to be fair. What factors may contribute to this or how can we create an equitable balance between law and politics?
