In this section, you will produce a chart of the past and projected populations of three school districts (SDs) in British Columbia (Table 1).  You will then derive additional data, describe, and compare and contrast the three populations.

1. Create an appropriate chart using the data of the total populations against years of the three school districts (SDs) from Table.
2. Describe, compare and contrast the data series on your chart.  Start with the earliest date, and describe the general trends using dates and population data.  Also consider the reasons for these trends (10)

Access BCStats' BC Population Estimates & Projections (shinyapps.io) web page for the data for the following college regions (CR) to complete the following Table 2. (Choose College Region for region type, select the two college regions, 2022 for the year, both genders, 5-year age groups, generate output and then download the data as csv -

Table 2: 2022 male and female populations by 10-year age groups for Kwantlen and Selkirk college regions, as percentages of their respective total populations.

1. Complete Table 2 above [Use the percentage for each age group by gender of the respective college region's total population.  Calculate to 1 decimal place]
2. Create population pyramid(s) using the data from Table 2. Include appropriate title(s), legend(s), and axes [Make the chart(s) half a page in size. 
3. Describe, compare and contrast the data in your population pyramid(s)
