Jimmy, a new undergraduate researcher in the lab, is told to make a vector (or plasmid) containing a copy of the CELLBIO gene from Dr. Acosta's genome as well as a selectable gene, Ampr.

Knowing the steps needed to create a vector/plasmid that we discussed in class/and that you describe above, answer the following:

It is late afternoon on Friday and Jimmy Neutron wants to leave the lab so that he can make it to a social before all of the food is gone. He rushes into the cold room, grabs an agar plate (labeled PENICILLIN) and plates the bacteria with just enough time to run over to the social. What will Jimmy see the next morning on his plate? Explain your answer.
