-Open one of the following: Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or similar blank spreadsheet/table document and provide personal answers to the following questions. A spreadsheet works best because you may use formulas to calculate the following information. Create a table displaying both miles per gallon and kilometers per gallon.

-Complete responses for questions 1-6 below go to the link. Create/embed a similar table in your document and input the required information (just mimic the table displayed in the Car Economics Activity).

-Upload your file in this assignment.

-Provide the initial cost of your vehicle (approximately), miles per gallon, miles driven per day (5-day total=business week), cost per day, and cost per year (see image below for an example).

-Estimate how many miles you "normally" travel (before the coronavirus) using fossil fuels (# of gallons of gasoline) for 7 days. How you travel - bus, car, train, airplane - does not matter, but does not include walking or biking. If you're not sure how far you've traveled, just estimate. Create two columns Convert your total miles for this period to kilometers by multiplying by 1.6.

-Multiply your total kilometers for 1 week by 48 to get kilometers traveled per year.

-Divide kilometers traveled per year by the number of miles per gallon your car gets (convert to kilometers per gallon). This will give you the number of gallons of fossil fuel that were used per year for transportation.

-Multiply the number of gallons of fuel you use per year by 125,000 British Thermal Units (the amount of energy in one gallon of gasoline) to find the number of BTUs you use in one year.

-Now, create another column and calculate the same data for the desired vehicle. Compare and analyze the economics for both vehicles. Provide me the net annual savings or expenses between your vehicle and the desired vehicle. That's it!
