Create a spreadsheet that can be used to track CDI productivity. Included on your tracking sheet should be the number of various types of reviews performed (concurrent initial reviews, concurrent re-reviews, retrospective, post-bill, audit review), the number of queries written, the types of queries written (POA, HAC, MCC, CC, etc.) the number of queries where responses were received and reviewed, and any other duties that a CDI person may have to perform.

On your spreadsheet create a header which briefly outlines the expected performance standards of a CDI employee (such as a number of charts reviewed, expected query rates, etc). There should be at least 15 different tracking items included. You may make you're tracking a weekly tracking sheet, bi-weekly, or monthly.
