Biographical Sketch Interview

Task: Create a short story using the information below. Apprx. 2/3 and 1 page in length. (Single spaced - with a space between multiple paragraphs)

My name is Luis Velazquez.

2. How old are you?

I am 37 years old.

3. What Country are you from?

Venezuela

4. When and where were you born?

I was born in Valencia, Venezuela on April 16th, 1979

5. When did you come to Canada?

I came in 2015, specifically March 29th, 2015

6. Why did you come to Canada?

I came to Canada because I wanted a better quality of life.

7. Where do you currently live?

I live in Danforth and Pape in Toronto.

8. How many siblings do you have?

I have 1 sister; she is younger than me. Her name is Jennifer, 36 years old and lives in Venezuela

9. What program are you taking at Sentinel College, and how many years?

I'm taking the 3-year program of Construction engineering technology.

10. Why do you want to study that?

I'm taking this course because I liked to build things ever since I was a kid.

11. Have you had any experience in your field before attending College?

No, not really. This is my first experience.

 

12. Do you have a favourite holiday and a place to celebrate it at?

My favourite holiday is Christmas and I love to spend it with my family

13. What do you think was the most useless class in high school for you?

I think it was typing class, when I was at school, computers weren't popular so we had a class called typing skills where we learned how to type on a typewriter.

14. What's your favourite food?

My favourite food is sushi

15. If you could take 1 thing with you on a deserted island, what would it be?

I would take a picture of my family.

16. If you were a crayon what color would you be?

I would be the blue crayon.

17. If you won the lottery what would you do with the money?

I would travel for a year, and then I would invest the money into something good.

18. In may 2012 it was announced that by 2030 there would be around 20 people going on a one-way trip to Mars to live there. If you had the chance to go, would you?I wouldn't go unless the trip was go and return.
