You will be required to create a Research Proposal (literature review and a written research plan) based on your chosen topic. The paper will be completed in stages during the term and the final proposal due at the end of the term. You will begin with a criminal justice research topic, create a research question or a thesis and write a literature review. You will need to consult at least 10 journal article (peer reviewed) sources and document these in your reference section. Next you will need to develop your research plan including your chosen research design and method. I typically do not provide page limits for papers but proposals turned in are usually between 10 and 12 pages (double-spaced)
