Project Description:

A student has been asked to look for 15 states from the United States in the human relations department. It has a request from several elementary schools to provide data on states. The 50states (www.50states.com) has a wealth of statistical data on these states in its online web site. It is the student's job to collect the data, organize it in a logical database, and creat

e appropriate queries.

Project Requirements:

Select 15 states from the above web site noted above. (Instructor approval required.)

Select 15 categories (fields) of data to use as fields. One of the fields must include a hyperlink of the state.These fields should be based on the categories in the 50 states website. (Instructor approval required.)

Create a database with the appropriate fields and properties.

Two tables are required and one of the fields must contain a graphic of the state.

Create a relationship between the two tables.

Create 4 queries that are listed in the rubric template with a minimum of 4 fields in each query.

Example: In what countries is the life expectancy over 70 years of age?

Name the query to appropriately identify the results.

Create an input form with all of the fields. Add a graphic to the form. This is to be a different graphic than the ones used in the table. This graphic will appear on every record.

Validation Rule will be created for one of the data fields.

Create an attractive report to display all fields from both tables. Include a footer with student's name, date, and course number.

Create a Navigation two level form that has the form, report and queries listed.

You will also need to include a macro to do each of the following: Exit to (your file name) and Exit Access.
