You are a supervisor/manager of Access Mortgage Company. At a current staff meeting the Senior Vice President (Michele Mason) stated that it has come to her attention that employees have been spending a fine deal of time on the internet during work hours for non business purposes.

The VP acknowledges that the internet is a essential tool in today's market place, but is alarmed that this behavior will negatively blow employee productivity and could perhaps lead to allegations of sexual harassment as a result of surfing inappropriate websites (dating sites, porn sites, facebook accounts, etc).

At the conclusion of the staff meeting the VP asks you to make a report that adds an analysis of the problem and recommendations to address the problem.

In order for you to do this assignment you will need to prepare some external and internal research. Your internal research from the Human Resources Department reveals that Access Mortgage does NOT have an employee internet usage policy (you should recommend creating a policy and key components). Your external research should add at least one scholarly journal article (use Business Source Primer in Ebscohost). In addition you would research the internet to locate at least three companies that sell internet monitoring software for Access Mortgage to purchase.
