For the data topic assigned, please research the company, industry, field, etc., to obtain a background and expertise on your topic. Determine the focus of your project and create the analysis to explain your findings. Use Excel and Tableau for your data analysis, create a dashboard and story in Tableau using the data, and create a professional PowerPoint presentation.

Create a professional analysis of the data. If the data set is broad, you should focus on one area to provide a professional business presentation. Your presentation will include screen shots of your views and dashboard, summary information such as charts, and statistical results from your Excel analysis.

Sources must be professional sources and cited correctly. If you are in doubt as to the credibility and accuracy of an article, don't use it. Sites such as slide share, scribd, docstoc, etc. are not allowed.

Your sources could be company or government examples, research articles, textbooks, whitepapers from companies, etc.

Requirements:

You are to develop a 15-20 professional Power Point slide presentation. Use the notes portion (see Notes Page under the View tab of the Power Point slide presentation) of the Power Point Slides to provide detail explanation. The notes section is used for details of your analysis or work. Use the actual slide for the major points ---do not use full sentences in this area (slide). These notes are part of your grade.

When you utilize the notes section you are limited to the power point slide at the top and the information below. All extra information about a particular slide must fit on the 8.5 by 11 portrait version of the notes page for a particular slide.

Formatting:

1. Please include the attached cover page.

2. Each "Note Page" of Power Point Slides must fit on one page and be in a portrait mode.

3. Utilize graphics to help emphasize a particular concept or answer a question

4. One of the early slides should include an agenda slide or objective slide and a summary slide

5. Slides should have references at the end (does not need to be included in your slide count).

See the instruction for details. Basically, you need to search an official source about recent grads employment, come out with basic background info and your own questions, and verify the source info by using Excel and Tableau to analyze the excel date. And last, make a 15-20 slide ppt to explain your findings. A free trial version of Tableau can be downloading from their website. I attached a ppt here. You need to follow the format and the chart sophisticatedness in this ppt. You also need to explain each slide and your graph in the note "section" like what they did in the sample ppt.
