Imagine that you are the leader of a large long-term care system in your community and you have been asked to create a presentation about your organization to present to members of your community. The organization can be a nursing home, a home care and/or hospice agency, an assisted living organization, or a continuum of care organization. TIP: You can base your imaginary organization on a real organization in your community. Review any materials about the real organization as well as its website. For this assignment, you'll create a PowerPoint with 8-10 slides that addresses the points below. Use a minimum of three sources and include a reference slide that lists the sources in APA format.
Points to address:
1. Overview of the organization (who is served, what services are provided).
2. How long you have worked there and how you were drawn to the long-term care industry.
3. Explain your organization's charges and how it is reimbursed for care and services provided.
4. Identify the challenges in long-term care reimbursement today.
5. How is the long-term care industry regulated?
6. How is your organization governed? Do you have a board of directors? Bylaws?
7. What do you find most satisfying about your role? Most challenging? Keep in mind that the slides should serve as a visual aid, while the speaker's notes should contain more detailed information. Please remember to use:
