BinSina Pharmacies Online Ordering System

BinSina Pharmacies are a series of pharmacies that are open across UAE.

They decided to create their own mobile app ordering system. The CEO decided that he needs as soon as possible a website where people can place their orders through the mobile app.

A user registers to the app, adds his/her address, select items and quantities and adds them to the cart then pay for the total and can select delivery time.

The CEO chose "you" as a "System Analyst" to conduct a feasibility study for the new required solution. He expects that the new system will increase customer satisfaction. The CEO just put one condition that the system must be installed by February 1st (you are meeting in end of September). He expects a full report by mid of October with a full detailed planning.

Task 1: Business Case, Problem Definition and System Request.

You learned in your "CIT460" course that there are several reasons for initiating system requests which are: improved service, support for new product and services, better performance, more information, stronger control/encryption/security/access level and reduce cost.

State which example of system request reason is the request for BinSina Mobile App with convincing arguments describing the existing issues to justify the need for a solution.

Task 2: Feasibility Study

For the same above system request, conduct feasibility study for the above depicting the 4 aspects of feasibility study:

Operational feasibility.
Technical feasibility.
Economic feasibility (where the student can show Tangible cost (calculating Total cost) and Intangible Costs.
Schedule feasibility (where the student can show a table containing due dates of every phase of SDLC).
