Question: Create a national (cross-sectional) research proposal related to caries prevalence at the national level in Saudi Arabia.

Importantly, the research should fit with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. Consequently, I want to emphasize in the proposal how the data will be collected in a way (from the manual) that will produce high-quality and more valuable data so that decision-makers and health leaders can obtain the information they need to take immediate action on disease control or to plan strategies to prevent future disease and adverse health events. In addition, it will aid governments, health authorities, and health professionals in creating policies and programs for disease prevention and assessing the progress, impact, and efficacy of efforts to control prevalent diseases and restore life quality. It would eventually lead to the primary goals of Saudi Vision 2030 for the health sector, such as improving the quality and effectiveness of health services, promoting the prevention of health hazards, and attaining cost efficiency.

The proposal should include the following:

Research Questions or objective:The distribution and severity of major oral diseases and conditions. The extent to which oral health programs match the need for care of population groups and the need for community-oriented disease prevention and health promotion.
