Teams are motivated by empowering them to participate in decision making and encouraging them to work independently" (Project Management Institute, 2017). There are many motivational techniques and models. For this discussion, answer the following questions:

  • Describe a situation that you have used motivation techniques in to get yourself or someone else to do something. What techniques did you use to create a motivating environment?
