Working independently, students will develop a social venture concept based on a pressing social issue of their choice. They will create a comprehensive plan that includes the problem statement, mission and vision, target beneficiaries, business model, financial sustainability strategies, and social impact measurement approaches.

Project Requirements:

Question A. Develop an idea of your own for a social venture that corresponds to a social issue that you are passionate about.

Question B. You'll likely need to do a little research about the potential problem and opportunities to make sure you have a good idea.

Question C. The research should result ina clear problem statement that connects to your proposal

Question D. Create a mission and vision for your proposed social venture.

Question E. Elaborate on the business model. How will your entrepreneurial endeavor work? What would be involved in the production and distribution?

Question F. How will the venture be funded? What's the financing strategy? Is it sustainable? What potential funding sources exist?

Question G. Who are the main stakeholders? What are the value propositions? How will you communicate with them?

Question H. Define measures that would let you know your venture is successful.
