One of the most important parts of developing a quality dissertation is having a thorough, quality literature review. That means building your literature review using appropriate literature. To prepare:

Read the Essentials for Planning a Literature Review; Quality of Evidence; and the Wheeldon and Faubert article on Framing Experience: Concept Maps, Mind Maps, & Data Collection in Qualitative Research. Also, watch the media piece Mind Map and Concept Map Demonstration. Consider the topic you plan to research for your dissertation. Think about a minimum of four areas you need to research as a part of your literature review. They may be key concepts or factors you want to research.

Create a mind map with your topic as the focus and then show these four areas on what you will explore, as well as on the interactions between different concepts, areas, and topics on the map. This will help you evaluate the quality of evidence for the articles and research studies you read for your literature review on your topic. Your mind map will help you focus your ideas visually in this module as you begin to read current research on your topic.

Post the following:

1) Post a one-sentence description of your dissertation topic.

2) Post four of the concepts/subtopics you have identified that need to be researched in preparation for completing your literature review. Share any interactions you will examine between these concepts. Get the instant assignment help.
