Assignment

A group of a maximum of 4 students has been created and they will be doing the following as a part of lab and assignment

Question 1. Create a Microservices-based application with at least 3 microservices. Each service should be maintained as a separate code repository so that it can be developed, deployed, and tested independently

Question 2. Use a suitable database artd database-related pattern for these services

Question 3. Use a suitable approach for the communication between these services (avoid high coupling between these services)

Question 4. Deploy each service on separate docker containers

Question 5. Run a Minikube cluster on your local machine and explore various options in this. Try deployment of your application on this

Question 6. Create a Kubernetes cluster on the cloud and deploy your application on this cluster. Analyze your cluster on the Kubernetes dashboard (optional)

Question 7. Explore scaling, recovery, security, and Cl/CD in Kubernetes (optional) Submission details:

a) Submit elaborate documentation with group details, contribution by each group member, brief application description, the architecture of
your application, steps, and screenshot for each of the above-mentioned tasks. Also, provide a link to the GitHub repositories in the document
U1 Create the first demo video to explain your microservices, the database, and communication between the services (tor points 1,2, and 3)
c) Create a second demo video to show various deployment options (for points 4 and 5)

d) Create the third video to show a demo of the Kubernetes cluster on the cloud if attempted (for points 6 and 7)

This must be submitted in a single folder with the file name <Group number>_<applicafion name> You can use Google Drive to share the link to this folder

I need to work on Library Management System. There are total three services, I need to work on Service2. I also need to work on the user interface. For service2 the language should be Python with flask and db should be SQL. All the communication need to be done on synchronous part. For service2 the language should be Python with flask and db should be SQL. For UI Python with Flask. I already have shared the details with you. I mean I already have shared all the microser vices which we need to complete as the project. My other two team members are working on two microservices as microservice1 and microservice3. Please let me know what other details you need.
