Overview: In this course the journal will be used for reflection. This is a private conversation between you and the instructor, and thus you are encouraged to deeply explore the course concept presented. A course journal in Brightspace is generally made up of many individual assignments. This journal assignment will be graded using the rubric below.

1. For the first part of your journal assignment, create a logic model for the identified area for improvement in your selected health program and provide a brief narrative that describes how the components are connected. Outline the program goals and objectives in your logic model as well. Analyze your logic model:

2. For the second part of your journal assignment, view the assigned video entitled 60 Minutes Investigates Swine Flu Scare of 1976 and address the following questions:

o What are some ethical concerns you might encounter given your public health issue?

o What can you do at the planning stage to account for ethical concerns?

Guidelines for Submission: Your journal assignment should be 2 to 3 paragraphs in length, using double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. If any direct reference is made to material from the readings, use APA citation styling.
