Based on the agreed upon HR project focus, create a draft outlining ten business requirements to ensure that the team has a solid understanding of the organizations requirements and goals for a HR Data Warehouse

HR schema for a project.

- The dimensional model for the project will include the following tables:

(1) - Fact Table
(1) - Salary Dimension Table
(1) - Department Dimension Table
(1) - Employee Dimension Table
(1) - Job Dimension Table

Group 1 will work as a team to, develop a fictitious organization and business case relative to a data warehouse project. The design will be a VERY SIMPLE data warehouse schema, which consists of one FACT table and four DIMENSION tables. You will perform several software development tasks, such as developing a project plan, gathering and analyzing requirements,

Group 1 will justify the business need by determining what the gain and / or benefit will be to the company after implementing the software. Maintenance, upgrades and enhancements will also be considered.

- Facilitates coordination and information sharing both internal and external to the
- Provides high levels of data security.
- Provides an open, flexible, reliable technology base for the future.
- Facilitates the electronic capture of data at its source.
- Eliminate redundant data entry throughout the organization.
