Digital Museum
Learning Goals:
- Students will select and organize relevant evidence and information on aspects of Canadian history since 1914 from a variety of primary and secondary sources
- communicate their ideas, arguments, and conclusions using various formats and styles, as appropriate for the audience and purpose
Your Task:
You will create a digital historical account to answer a big question related to this time period. The artifacts in your digital museum can include copies of art work, pictures, photos, maps, diagrams, poems, newspaper clippings, letters, diaries, short writings etc... Note you must have a mix of types of sources (that is they cannot just be photos).
The objective of this project is to select 8 to 10 items (text, images etc...) analyze each item and use them to make an argument about your topic.
Your account must be original, informative and historically accurate. In order to ensure that a variety of topics are covered students will sign up for a topic. See attached rubric for more detail.

Your Digital museum must include the following :
- 8-10 items to exhibit (must be a combination of images and text sources)
- A description of each item and how it contributes to an understanding of your topic.
These descriptions are to be two sentences long with the first sentence explaining the item (This is a ...... ) and the second sentence explaining its relationship to your inquiry question (It is important to this topic because ....)
