Using the healthcare job posting, create a cover letter following these parameters:

All of your information and the employers information should be at the top of the page. Include the date at the top of the page.

Address the letter: "To Whom It May Concern:" Your cover letter should have three paragraphs: The first part is the introduction. Make sure to clearly state what position you are apply for and how you heard about the job, ie. a person, website, job board, etc.

The second part, and the largest paragraph, is the "why you" part. This is the space for you to really sell yourself. You can reference the experience listed in your resume but do not simply repeat it. Use it to your advantage and really show the company how your experience will serve it.

The third part is just a few sentences reiterating your interest in the position and expressing your appreciation for their attention.

Job Description Under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Research Assistant is directly involved with the recruitment of study participants and will also be trained to perform the following: data collection and entry, quality assurance and regulatory compliance, processing, handling, and storage of specimens.

Required Qualifications

- Regionally accredited undergraduate degree (B.A., B.S.) is preferred.
- 0-5 years of experience in biomedical/ clinical research.

Minimum Requirements - Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow protocol.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with participants.

Preferred Qualifications - 0-5 years of experience in biomedical/ clinical research.
- Individuals with limited experience who have a willingness to learn more about biomedical/ clinical research are encouraged to apply.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Essential Duties - Assist in participant recruitment.
- Assist in data collection and entry.
- Assist in quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in processing, handling and storage of specimens.
- Maintains necessary records and documents.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive reports including but not limited to manuscripts summarizing data collection; establish and maintain participant files.

Complexity The ability to perform highly detailed work with sustained attention and care while providing/obtaining information on numerous inquiries is paramount to success in this position.
