Question: The country of Azerbaijan

You have been asked by the government of Azerbaijan to create a committee to advice the government on cooperation between the government and civil society organizations. Civil society is to be understood as every part of the society which is not directly part of the political system or the economic system. As such businesses and government organizations are excluded, but trade unions and employers organizations are included. You can furthermore think of any organization working for a cause in the country such as religious issues, human rights, the environment, etc.

This 2 -3 page paper is to give the government of Azerbaijan an overview of the government, major civil society organizations of this country and identify the area of civil society when it would be most beneficial for the government to cooperate with civil society.

Which organizations should be included in the cooperation and which organizations would not be included.

The body of the work should show the major areas in which civil society is active and where cooperation is possible. The conclusion should show the answer to your research question or a confirmation/denial of your thesis. The whole paper should have citations and a bibliography. Take into consideration of the relevant issues and theories discussed in the book which relate to civil society.
