TITLE OF THIS ACTIVITY - CPD resources for professional standards and guidelines
To upload these to your PebblePad go to your home page, click on the assets tab (this should be under your photo on the top left hand side). Then click on the Upload File and find your 3 annotated bibliography documents to be uploaded.
In Assessment 1 you will be locating, accessing and appraising information about your profession's standards and guidelines relating the attributes of professionalism. This modules Portfolio activity will help you prepare for your first assessment.
As part of your portfolio create an annotated bibliography of resources you can use to maintain an up-to-date awareness of these standards and guidelines.
Include resources from government, peak professional bodies relevant to your practice - these may be professional societies, communities or practice, field of practice organisations or clearing houses for evidence-based practice resources in your area.
There are also three readings for this week - two come from the Australian Council of the Professions and one is about professional identity. These give you more information about what makes a profession, why it is important and why identifying with a profession is so influential in practice behaviours.

The SDL activity for Week 2 requires development of a learning plan.
Using the HSC501 CPD template shared in this modules tutorial, complete a learning plan .
If your profession (or target profession) is registered with AHPRA, you can create a version that uses the recommended CPD portfolio template for that profession (please FIRST advise your tutor in advance if this is what you will be doing)
If your profession is accredited but not registered, and the peak body has a recommended CPD portfolio template, please discuss with your tutor beforehand to see whether or not the template meets content requirements for this SDL activity. If it does you can use that template instead of the HSC501 Module 2 CPD template.

Portfolio resources and reflections this module explore the material on types of teams, attributes for successful team functioning, and the interaction of personal attributes, professional identity and roles within teams.
