HIV/AIDS has a high morbidity and rapid mortality rate when untreated. Although HIV disease and AIDS cannot yet be cured, the continued correct use of antiretroviral therapy allows HIV clients to live longer, healthier lives. As a nurse, you may be caring for a client at various stages of HIV disease. This activity will allow you to apply the nursing process to a client with HIV/AIDS.

Create a case study on a client with HIV/AIDS disease. The case study should be accurate, in-depth, creative and should fully cover the assigned material.

Your case scenario should include the following:

Description of the client
Biographical data
History of present problem
Personal and social history
Physical examination findings
Labs and diagnostic test results
Vital signs
Assessment data
Suggested treatment options
