Assessment 1: Prepare the checklist for tender document and evaluate risk
(Approximately 600 words).
The owner for 1040 Greenacre is inviting tender quotes for repair work. You are required to analyse and evaluate the risk in submitting the tender for this project, on behalf of Metharom for 1040 Greenacre Boulevard, Northcote, Victoria, 3070. The project details are provided in appendix A. You are also required to refer to the plans provided.
Repair works are to correct the current leak and to prevent the leak from recurring. They need the complete bathroom renovation with major structural changes as below:
• Floor tiles to be replaced with high quality porcelain
• Bath - flexible fibreglass
• Frameless shower screens with thicker glass
• 900mm wall hung vanity with hidden handles
• Waterproofing
Conduct an analysis of the potential contract for risk and prepare a checklist to help the tendering process.
A. Conduct a risk analysis of the potential contract for risk using a T-Chart template, make sure that you justify your risks and benefits by referring to the 1040 Greenacre Boulevard Project details
B. Prepare a checklist to help the tendering process. (include minimum 6 for the checklist).

Assessment 2: Compile your resources for the tender
Using your company tender acquisition policy and procedures; assemble all of the necessary documents in order to write the tender.
Based on your checklist , create a tender for the repair work as mentioned in assessment 1
You are required to scan the tender along with all other relevant documents compiled into one file and send a soft copy to your assessor
Minimum acceptable things in the tender should be
• Specifications
• Scope of work
• Project schedule
• costing
Assessment 3: Conduct an evaluation (Role play) maximum 400 words
You are required to meet with your manager and discuss the tender. The manager will need to evaluate and approve the tender as prepared in assessment 2
Conduct a preliminary evaluation of the tender by:
A) checking the calculations
B) ensuring the tender complies with your company finance guidelines
C) ensuring the tender complies with your company administrative guidelines
D) Using the template provided in appendices describe any identified errors and state how you would correct them by creating amendments (maximum 1000 words).
The assessment words should be maximum of 400 words.
Assessment 4: Submit your tender
A) Write an email to the upper management explaining why you have created a tender for this project. You will also need to ask your CEO for permission to go ahead with the project in this email (maximum 350 words).
B) Using your meeting records from assessment 3, make the required changes to the tender and email to the client (your assessor)
