Samuel, a officer of the law, was guest speaking one day in class when one of the students, approached him during the class and pretended to brandish a gun in his coat by reaching in his jacket pocket and with his pointer finger pointed the pocket at Samuel and said, "you dirty cop, this is for you." Smauel actually believed the student had a gun in his pocket and immediately pulled out his Glock semiautomatic weapon(which he carries on himself) and pointed it at the student and demanded him to drop his wepon. The student laughed and said that it was only a joke. Can Samuel sue him in civil court for any torts?

A. Yes, assault.

B.Yes, battery.

Troy was apologetic to Doogie but Doogie decided to sue him anyway in court for damages as a result of the tackle. Will he succeed in court and for what tort?
