Cybersecurity assignment

You will be investigating a chosen Home area network attack and present your findings in a report and by a video presentation.

Examples of home network attacks to pick from include

Phishing, Bruteforce attacks, Crypto Mining , DNS Spoofing etc

Your report must include the following sections:

1. An introduction which lays out what is the objective of the report and the focused topic.

2. The body of the report should have the following content structured in an appropriate way:

• Vulnerable assets in the network relevant to the chosen attack
• The analysis of relevant source/tools related to the attack
• Way of launching the attack
• Counter measures specific to the attack

3. A conclusion that recommends good practise measures for protecting home networks.

The assignment should be carried out independently. No collaboration is allowed. The submitted assignment must be word processed and saved in Microsoft Word. Your report should be around 3000 words. Due to space limitation, your report should be structured and written using objective language. Please present your report as clearly as possible because it also serves as demonstration of your understanding of the investigated topic which is a requirement for the assignment.

Report should have at least 10 academic references.
