Question

A summer camp counselor hosts a Fourth of July event. The counselor lights a "Roman candle" (a firework shaped like a stick with a delayed fuse that ejects one or more stars or exploding shells into the sky). In an effort to make the children laugh, he twirls it like a baton after lighting it. An exploding shell strikes him in the face and he loses sight in his left eye.
