Upon reviewing the scenario presented in the video the staff was very unapologetic for another one's actions. While working for a healthcare organization each employee should work as a team player to serve the needs for patients. Blaming another employee for their incorrect work mistakes doesn't make the patient feel any better about the situation. Patients should experience a welcoming healthcare organization that shows how each team member is dedicated to providing compassion and care. Consistent communication between departments and staff will help patients understand how involved the healthcare organization is with their care. The first concern is the improper coding of the patient's medical visit led to a billing issue (Buchbinder et al. 2021, p. 233 - 244). Could the physician's error be related to the benchmarking concept?
