An exon of a eukaryotic protein coding gene has the following sequence on the template strand:

5' GTTAATAGCATTTCG3'

a) What is the sequence of the corresponding region of the mRNA?

b) If this region contains a stop codon, and 3'UTR, what is the amino acid sequence of the encoded polypeptide chain?

c) What is the anti-codon sequence of the tRNA carrying the last amino acid you provided in part b?

This is what I have:

a) 5'- CGA AAU GCU AUU AAC- 3'

b) NH2- Arg- Asn- Ala-Ile- Asn-COOH

c) 5'-GUU-3' = Val.
