Imagine we conduct a study looking at the correlation between teen relationship "satisfaction" and features of that relationship. Let's say satisfaction ranges from 1 (low) to 9 (high). Let's say happiness also ranges from 1 (low) to 9 (high). So, we see the range (1 to 9) for X and Y above. But why do we NEED to note the range? What information does it give us?
