Corporate citizen summary
Instructions
Canada's leading publication on good corporate responsibility, Corporate Knights, publishes an annual list of top Canadian corporate citizens. Go to the site and find the report. Make sure to find the most recent annual list (for example, the "2019 Best 50 results.")
Select one of the companies listed based on your own interests. You will need to identify how your selected company has met each of the four areas of responsibilities mentioned in the Learning Activity, for example, you can mention diversity policies under the realm of legal responsibilities.
You will prepare a one-page summary using a word-processing software and you will submit it to your teacher for feedback. Make sure to keep your notes and feedback from the teacher, because you will revisit this company again in the unit's culminating task.
