Three 1-L portions of the sample are eachextracted with 25 mL portions of methylene chloride and theextracts are combined in a 100-mL volumetric flask and diluted to volume. A 50-mL aliqout is combined in a 100mL volumetric flask anddiluted to volume. A 50 mL aliqout is evaporated, ashed, andtitrated.
