Nazca Cinemas is a tiny movie theater that would like you to create a movie scheduling database system for them. The theater has 4-screens. Each screens has its own unique ID and the seating capacity and screen size for each are recorded. Each movie is assigned a unique movie ID and its title and runtime are recorded.
Assume the following:
A movie can be shown more than once on a given date.A movie can be shown more than once in a given room.A movie can be shown in more than one room simultaneously.Several showings can be booked at different start times in a given room on a given date.
The following unnormalized relation has been developed based on this case. Do not add any additional attributes.
SHOWING (MovieID, Title, Runtime, RoomID, ScreenSize, Capacity, Date, StartTime)
1. Convert the unnormalized relation into 1NF and briefly discuss the changes that were necessary.2. Convert the 1NF relation to 2NF and briefly discuss the changes that were necessary.3. Convert the 2NF relation to 3NF and briefly discuss the changes that were necessary.
Examine the use of databases in your company. Include what database applications are used. Conclude through proposing improvements.
Make a stack at 1000h and use the stack to interchange the contents of all of working registers. Exchange AX with DX, BX with CX, and DI with SI.
Make a menu bar with a document menu that includes a Perform Action command and an Exit command. The Perform Action command calculates either the sum or the average of rows or columns in array and displays result in a message box.
Create an object oriented data model, including all appropriate notations, to represent the given situation. In a particular region there are a number of gardens.
Assume you have the array A of n items, and you want to find k items in A closest to the median of A. Describe why your algorithm runs in O(n) time.
Create the algorithm to read arbitrary number of data records, each containing name, age, and code. Code of 1 will indicate female, a code of 2 will indicate male.
Determine ciphertext (in binary form) generated by encryption of character X?
Describe and implement in C++ FFT algorithm "Cooley-Tukey". Also, implement naive DFT and compare naive DFT with FFT using: a sample of the signal x(t) = t
Generalize the 2-3 algorithms for INSERT and DELETE to K-J trees, where non-leaf vertices have between K and J children for fixed integers K >=2, and J>= 2K-1.
Discuss and define normalization and what are the basic steps of the normalization process?
Describe a sorting algorithm to be parsimonious if it never compares same pair of input values twice. (Supose that all the values being sorted are distinct.).
