Assignment Specifics:
Part 1. You are employed by a locally owned business that sells products not services (i.e., not a restaurant). After a conversation with the owner about content marketing, you are asked to compose a sample blog entry that could provide useful information about the store's products to its target audience. Compose the blog entry. In a separate paragraph, identify the type of business and how the entry provides useful information and will persuade potential customers.
Part 2. On a separate page, compose a draft Facebook entry that links to the blog that you wrote in Part 1. In addition to the link to the blog entry, include either a visual element or a question designed to encourage participation, or both.
Assignment Parameters:
Part 1: Write a blog entry (no more than 150 words) about your store's products.
On a separate page, write a separate paragraph (no more than 150 words) explaining how the entry is helpful and will persuade potential customers.
Part 2: On a separate page compose a draft Facebook entry in Word (no more than 75 words plus visual) that includes the links to the blog. Within the entry, provide a visual element or ask a question designed to encourage participation or both. (This is not done in Facebook, but you are creating a sample that you will show to the owner)
This assignment will be three separate pages in a single Word document.
Be sure to proofread both entries. Although these are drafts that you are preparing for the owner, you want them to be ready to post, once the owner has approved.
