The long essays cover all the subjects and materials from the beginning of the semester until the time of the exam.
In the Long Essay weeks, no reading is assigned so that you will have time to focus on all previous subjects and allocate your time to write the essay.

Compare and contrast the extent of the major environmental problems in the United States before the globalization era (1990s-2000s) with those of today. You can pick a minimum of three major environmental issues. It is entirely up to you which problems you elect to discuss.
