1. Compare and contrast the business models of Netflix and Blockbuster across the period of time that started when Netflix entered the market and ended just before Blockbuster launched Blockbuster Online. (Do not consider VOD.) Draw on the assigned article about business models, for example by comparing and contrasting Customer Value Propositions, Profit Formulae, Key Resources and Processes, as well as opportunities and needs that Netflix identified as not being delivered by Blockbuster's business model.

2. Blockbuster launched Blockbuster Online (BBO), a combination of the brick-and-mortar Blockbuster and its online arm. It failed. Provide a business model-oriented explanation for why the failure happened. That is, analyze how Blockbuster changed its business model with BBO's launch and why the change was ineffective (HINT: BBO is a combination of Blockbuster's & Netflix's two business models).
