Your customer performed the trade study and decide that the laser-produced plasma field is the preferred solution. Since your company doesn't make lasers, you need flow a product specification to a laser supplier. You are expecting them to customize one of their COTS lasers for your application. Describe the overalll objective of the specification document. Create five hypothetical "shall" statements that belong in such a document. The system will require three lasers that can be focused on a designated point in the sky. The combination of energy from the three lasers is sufficient to create plasma out of the air. You will not be evaluated on your technical knowledge of lasers. Make whatever assumptions you think necessary to formulate your thoughts and briefly describe them.
