Now read pp. 198-212, from the text book (Tidd, et al.) on competencies and pathways. Be sure to look at the Polaroid case and think about how it relates to your studies elsewhere on core competencies and our own work in this topic on heavy weight product managers.

Part 7.3
Read p. 32-39 and 243-249 from Tidd et al. on disruption and discontinuity. Pay particular attention to Table 1.4, and then be sure to complete the exercise at the end of the chapter that includes reading Christensen and Bower in the original form.
