Ethical legal decision making provides a structure for addressing ethical legal issues that have an impact on counseling. It must be emphasized that throughout the decision making process it is critical to consult when necessary and to document all significant activities and events as consultations and treatments efforts. The following four steps can be useful in providing a structure for ethical legal decision making. Briefly discuss these four steps.
Step1: Determine whether an ethical legal issue needs to be address.
Step 2: Address contextual issues such as culture and personal bais.
Step 3: Formulating an Ethical Legal Course of Action.
Step 4: Implementing an action plan
